Vacuum Casting Services in Australia High-Quality Prototypes & Low-Volume Production

At Graphscape 3D, our vacuum casting services provide a fast, cost-effective solution for producing high-quality prototypes and low-volume production parts. Using polyurethane casting (urethane casting), we replicate the look, feel, and performance of final products—perfect for functional testing, design validation, and short-run manufacturing.Ideal for industries like aerospace, automotive, product design, and art, vacuum casting delivers detailed, durable components that closely mimic injection-molded parts.

Applications include:

  • Functional prototypes and design models
  • Engineering-grade parts for testing
  • Affordable and customized art or product replicas
  • Rapid prototyping for product development
  • End-use parts in limited quantities

Choose Graphscape for vacuum casting in Australia and get precision, speed, and affordability—all in one solution.

We Offer Urethane Casting

Urethane casting is perfect for small batch production, offering cost savings and material flexibility. Here’s why it’s beneficial:
Cost Savings: Urethane parts are cheaper than those made by additive manufacturing, making it great for prototype mass production.
Lower Tooling Costs: Silicone molds used in vacuum casting cost less than metal molds in injection molding.
Faster Tooling: Making molds takes about 10 days, much quicker than the 4-8 weeks for traditional injection molding.
Material Options: A wide range of materials can be used in vacuum casting. High-Quality Finish:Parts have strength and finish comparable to injection molding and can be further processed.
At Graphscape 3D, we provide top-quality custom silicone molds in Australia for all your casting needs, from 3D print casting to resin mold casting.

VACUUM CASTING PROCESS

Graphscape 3d provides a range of vacuum casting services, including Polyurethane casting and vacuum mold casting. Here’s a straightforward breakdown of the process:
Step 1: 3D Model Creation
First, you send us your 3D CAD file. We use this file to create a high-quality master model with modern technology and a silicone mold maker machine
Step 2: Curing Process
Next, the master model is cured using thermoset plastics. This step typically takes a few hours.
Step 3: Vacuum Casting
We place the mold into a vacuum casting machine to evacuate the air. This creates a vacuum, allowing the molten plastic to fill every corner of the mold cavity. As the plastic cools and hardens, it forms a dimensionally stable part.
Step 4: Post-Processing
Finally, our engineers remove the newly cast part from the mold and clean it up. Surface finishing is then performed to enhance the part’s aesthetic qualities.
