Whether you’re looking for rapid prototyping or custom production, our dedicated team ensures every project meets your expectations with accuracy and care.
What is Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3d printing
Unlike traditional 3D printing methods, MJF is a cutting-edge powder-bed process known for its ability to build custom geometries quickly and with precision. It works by selectively applying fusing and detailing agents across the powder bed. Next, infrared light fuses the layers, producing detailed and durable parts. As a result, you benefit from shorter production times, excellent surface finishes, and cost-effective output. At Graphscape 3D Printing, we provide flexible MJF solutions that make your designs production-ready.
HOW DOES THE MJF PROCESS WORK
Here’s how it works step-by-step:
First, the printer applies detailing agents and binder droplets onto layers of pre-heated polymer powder. The binder acts like a heat-absorbing ink, which melts the powder instantly for firm binding. Then, the detailing agent defines clean edges and prevents excess powder from interfering with the design. Furthermore, each newly applied powder layer supports the one above it, which eliminates the need for additional structures. This gives engineers greater freedom to design complex parts, even in large quantities.
